Whatever happened to Atari?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

atari is still around and doing pretty well for itself. odviously they aren't doing hardware anymore, but they are doing software and have been popping games out ever since.

Atari just got old and never used anymore. Xbox, PS3, and the Wii have taken control of the gaming industry. Although on Yahoo.com i heard something that Atari might make a comeback.... but im not 100% on that
