Fascinating. The story does to have suddenly lost attention. According to "Crime and Crime Again" in the Huffington Post, swine flu is the culprit. There are still stories here and there. Here are some google lists as being posted hours ago:
- "Pressure grows to impeach Judge Jay Bybee over 'torture memos'" in UK Times Online
- "We can't afford to take Cheney's word for it" in the Salt Lake Tribune
- "Crime and Crime Again" in the Huffington Post
- "President Obama's torture fiat won't keep America safe from terrorists" in the NY Daily News
- "Let's drop the assumption waterboarding doesn't work" in the SF Chronicle

FTA "Crime and Crime Again": "While the media frenzy this week over Swine Flu has knocked the Bush torture memos/photos out of the Number One spot from public consciousness, it becomes even more incumbent upon the Obama administration and the Justice Department to keep the culture focused on the previous administration's wrongdoings."
What? It is encumbent upon the Obama administration to keep the focus on the Bush administration? What's with the politicians of today?
