You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Go with The elite package 120gb hard drive has enough room for your media and games.

Copying the games to the hard-drive will also make the unit a bit quieter.

I say go with the Special addition modern warfare 2 system. It comes with the game and 2 controlers and it has a 250g hard drive that doesn't come on any other xbox system. I own both a PS3 and an xbox and beleive that xbox live is easier to use than playstation network. Xbox live also added a bunch of great new features like twitter and facebook. So you can import all of you facebook friends that have xbox accounts right away and start playing online with them.

I would go with the xbox 360 elite as well. The hard drive is plenty big and xbox far and away out performs the ps3. But this is a personal opinion. I think the graphics are better (as xbox has a better graphics processor), XBox Live is so much better than PS3 network and I believe that Xbox has the better games overall vs PS3.

However, it is all a matter of opinion as to which one is best for you. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter which processor is better or which one has the better .... anything. You get the one you WANT and the one you like the best.

I have the feeling this will be one of those "Coke vs. Pepsi" debates that will go on until the end of time. So, don't take up too much precious time debating the issue. Get your console and enjoy the games...! :-)

Good luck..!

Own experience. More than just a little experience as a gamer, computer and console builder/repairs, and computer tech. I own an XBox 360, but have owned the PS1,2, and 3 (eventually, sold these because of just a personal preference).

As much as I support the Xbox 360, I think a PS3 and COD Modern Warfare 2 would be a better buy. Not only is online free, but you will also be getting a good bluray player as well as what I believe is more stable hardware than the 360. Plus, you can't go wrong with its exclusives.

Now I know people here and there are saying that the latest Xbox 360 SKU has fixed the overheating problems, but when you've run into 3 xbox 360s already that have lasted for only year and a half (that's me. Had the original one, a Zephyr and a Falcon), I find that pretty damn hard to believe now unless Microsoft decides to overhaul the design the xbox 360.

If you want another choice, PC would obviously be the one if you have the hardware (MW 2 is similar to MW 1, and the requirements aren't exactly sky high like the latest games out now so that's a good thing). Lack of dedicated servers (and LAN I believe without a net connection for Steam) can be a bummer though.

If you really need to get an xbox though, try to look for the special Elite model that comes with Modern Warfare 2, 2 wireless controllers, and a 250gb hdd. Damn good deal if you ask me.

Since you're not a gamer, I'd go with a PS3, Jason.

You'll like the BluRay player, the media functionality and the Playstation Store.

However, before buying anything, I'd draft an e-mail to your CEO friends. Ask what they have.

Online gaming is a good networking tool. Call of Duty is about multiplayer gaming and if you have the same system as your friends, you can all play together.

Get on everyone's friends list. Similar to Poker, you can shoot it up, tease, heckle and generally have fun in a way that doesn't involve a board room or name tags.
