What would you like to know more about How to Sell Your Handmade Crafts Online ?

I'm just getting this page started, and I'd love to know what you'd like more information on.

Please let me know what you'd like to see here...
How to Sell your Handmade Crafts Online
Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I would like to know the following:

What items, or types of items, sell best?
How do you price your crafts -- your time shouldn't be free, but you still want your stuff to sell -- guidelines?
How do you market your crafts? Just put it out somewhere like Etsy and wait?
I know about Etsy; are there other sites like it? How do they compare? I see the prices on eBay and sometimes it hardy seems worth it...
I also would like to know about the most cost effective shipping, collecting sales tax, and reporting income from the sale of my crafts.
Do I need a business license? Is there any kind of liability involved that I need to be aware of or insured from?
Are food products (like the pretty jars with ingredients in them) subject to any sort of restrictions or regulation?

Give me a few days and I'll bet I can come up with a bunch more (I'm crafty...)

Here is a site you can sell you items on.

Get started!
Sign up for free. To start selling on Etsy, you’ll first need to register for an Etsy account. To become a seller, you’ll need a credit card for verification purposes.

List your items. It costs 20 cents to list an item for four months. When your item sells, you’ll pay a 3.5% transaction fee. Read all about Etsy's fees for more information. Etsy makes it easy to pay your bill each month with a single click.

Or you can just sell them on ebay.com
