What would today's world be like without photography and all the technology resulting from its invention?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think the world would be a VERY different place indeed. In my imaginary world of no-photography, "moving pictures" would never have been created, therefore we would have no televisions, no DVD's, no Blue Ray, no movie theaters and no $4.00 bag of popcorn. Well, we'd still have carnivals & fairs, and stage theaters would still be popular so we'd wouldn't lose our beloved $4.00 popcorn.

Billboards would all be graphic design and artwork. The internet would be boring. Porn would still be the most popular thing on the internet, but you'd have to read it. It would be more like Penthouse letters than Playboy. Nobody would have avatars by their name in Mahalo, nor would we have interesting photos to help make our point when answering questions.

Wall murals would be far more prevalent. Graffiti Artist would be a viable occupation. "Tagging" would still be frowned upon, however, and taggers would be shot on sight, if found defacing legitimate Graffiti, murals or other outdoor wall art.

Cell phones would not have cameras of any sort. They'd have miniture versions of "Etch & Sketch" and people would become very adept at making single line drawings of things they see to digitally send to thier friends.
