What would be your dream musical Super-Group?
After seeing this poor excuse for a Super-Group, I got to thinking about what would be the best one ever. Let's hear your best lineups and what you think the resulting band would sound like!
Rules:
1. Only 2 people in the band can play the same instrument (no bands with 5 guitarists)
2. Players can be dead or alive
3. Must come up with a Name for the band
4. No super-groups that already exist
5. Maximum 6 people in the band

M$Steven Tyler: lead singer and back-up percussion
Joe Perry: lead and rhythm guitar and back-up vocals
Brad Whitford: rhythm guitar and lead guitar and back-up vocals
Tom Hamilton: smokin' hot bass and back-up vocals
Joey Kramer: drums and back-up vocals
oh wait!! that's Aerosmith!! i think they're super enough as they are and have been.....the only addition i would make would be to have Jeff Beck stand in on lead and rhythm guitar.
hmmm......now, for bluesey stuff:
Stevie Ray Vaughan: guitar and vocals
Jonny Lang: guitar and vocals
Joey Kramer: drums
Bonnie Raitt: guitar and vocals
Phil Lesh: bass guitar
Jerry Lee Lewis: piano
and i'd call them Smokin' Hot Tamales. why not? hehehe!
great question, btw.

M$John Lennon on lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and vocals. Every great rock groups needs someone to be the political activist, and John Lennon was not only one of the greatest political activists, but also one of the greatest musicians of all time.
Eric Clapton on lead guitar. Naturally, the greatest supergroup ever would have to have the greatest guitarist ever.
Ringo Starr on drums. Whenever I listen to covers of Beatles songs the main gripe I have with them is that none of them get the drumming right. Ringo is, in my opinion, the greatest drummer ever.
Bob Dylan on harmonica and vocals. The supergroup needs someone to write all their hit songs. Bob Dylan is my favorite song writer ever.
Paul McCartney on bass guitar, keyboards, and vocals. Originally I chose McCartney for this fictional supergroup because I didn't know of many other bass players, but then I did some minimal research and found out that I still couldn't find any other bass player better than him.
George Harrison on sitar and vocals. I've always been a fan of sitars in popular music. I considered Ravi Shankar or Brian Jones for this position, but it seemed like a crime against nature to have three of the Beatles and not the fourth.
If I had to pick a name for them, it'd be "The Supergroup," because it not only brings to mind Bob Dylan's "The Band," it also implies that they are the definitive supergroup.
