What would be a good name for a female yellow lab puppy? Something that is not too girlie...lol

We already have a male chocolate lab, his name is Boone. This little female pup is his niece. I always had male dogs, and found getting names was more easy!! Thanks

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Here are a few ideas:

Cubby
Scout
Barkley
Cher (haha)
Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, or Sophia (because she's a "golden girl", get it?)
Rory
Ginny
Hazel
Chloe
Lucy
Paige
Honey (I guess that's a bit girly though, huh?)
Bella
Bee (or Bea) - (because the coloring is like a honeycomb)
Harper
Sidney
Carly
She-Ra (girly yes, but She-Ra kicked butt!)
Thora
Xena
Jasmine (Jazz for short)
Molly
Hailey
Frida
Kahlo
Cleopatra (Cleo for short)
or Shannon (if you're a fan of "Lost" - get it? Boone & Shannon?)

If he's Boone, how about Kate or Freckles? Or Juliette? Shannon? Claire? Danielle? Alex? Eloise? Charlotte?

These are all female characters on Lost, where Boone was a character that got killed during the first season.

In the show, Juliet, Shannon and Claire were blondes, and Charlotte was a redhead. Shannon was Boone's stepsister.

Sami has always been a favorite of mine. I have a female lab mix named Sami so i may be a bit prejudiced. :)

How about "Danny"

(as in Danielle - but in reference to Daniel Boone).

They must be so cute together :)

I like "Bailey" It's kind of feminine, but not too much. Dogs seem to also enjoy and respond well to names that end in a vowel sound.
