What would be a fair price to pay a model for a marketing campaign?
So, I am looking to hire a local model to help me promote a series of energy drinks and nutritional supplements. I am an individual, not a company. My budget is tight and I am working in a very limited market.
I have pin-pointed some local talent. I am located in Fresno, CA. I wanted to offer the model a fair price, but have no idea what "fair" price means when it comes to things of this matter.
The model has done plenty of modeling and tradeshow work before.

I want to make a legit offer without insulting her. Also, how would one go about drawing up a contract/offer?
Can someone point me in the right direction?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Since you're not trying to book some supermodel, I think you can probably supplement lower compensation with exposure. Many models, actors, etc. are willing to work for lower, but somewhat reasonable compensation, just to get their face out there. That doesn't mean you should take advantage of the situation, just realize that you are providing them a step forward in their career simply by putting their face permanently on a product.
