What workouts are best to increase size and perfect shape of a woman's butt?

My girlfriend has tried almost every leg/ glut workout. Her butt is never sore from these workouts. What are the best workouts for the butt. Secondly, I know squats are supposed to work out the gluteus maximus but she only feels the soreness in her legs...is there a certain form that would concentrate the work in the butt? Thanks

The trick to making squats work is to pinch the butt cheeks together while returning to the standing position. Just think of it as trying to hold a penny between your butt cheeks.

Bitbit has the right idea. That is my problem area and I used a program called Brazil Butt Lift. It works wonders, but is done by a professional trainer who makes your workout according to body type. For more fitness help feel free to add me on facebook.

It sounds like your girlfriend's not responding to slow repetitive mechanical weight training or she's reached a plateau in one-dimensional weight training. I think she can try burst exercises like sprinting, soccer, basketball, high jumps, and long jumps, or maybe some circuit training. I highly recommend barefoot sprinting on various types of natural terrain.
