Unfortunately, as you have probably seen by now, the Mavericks didn't quite make it. They ran into kind of a steamroller that is Carmelo, Chauncey, and the rest of the Nuggets. It was a heck of an upset, but the Nuggets took them down, 4-1.
At this point, it's anybody's guess who will be in the finals. And the Mavs have a good shot to compete next year. But this just wasn't their year.
