What will happen to Sam, the koala rescued from the Australia Bushfires?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

They will attempt to put the Koala back into the same habitat as it came with as many companions as possible to make a smooth transition but sometimes they can't be reintroduced because of the trauma the animal faced. Believe or not a lot of animals carry memories good or bad the bad ones haunt them like you wouldn't believe.

God Bless my Aussie cousins what has happened there makes me feel empty inside.

Nothing yet, Sam is still recovering from her third degree burns on her paws. I am so moved by Sam (the Koala) who could withstand getting your paws (well hands or feet) burned every time you moved? I LOVE KOALAS!!! She is in a shelter no one has decided what to do after she has healed but most likely will be returned back to the bush!

She'll spend while yet being looked after by our wonderful wildlife carers ('Wildlife Victoria' among other wonderful voulenteer groups) Then depending on her recovery she'll be relised back somewhere safe. Weather it be the 'wild' or a sanctury type of set up.
Wildlife Victoria have been real hero's, their looking after many of sam's little friends, Kangaroos, wallabies, possums, even birds. With the aim to return them back to the wild

They will most likely return Sam to a safe part of the wild.
