What were the injury statistics for Lawn Darts (jarts)? ie. How many kids were lobotomized by this product before they were outlawed?

Lawn darts were introduced in the 1960s and banned in the US in 1988, at which time it was estimated that they were responsible for about 670 emergency-room visits per year. At that rate, there would have been over 13,000 ER visits caused by lawn darts in the US before they were banned.
(Note that the 1988 ban had to be re-publicized in 1997 because of the large number of lawn dart sets still in use and continued serious injuries. Lawn darts are still readily available online.)
