What websites do you recommend for booking cheap accommodation in England?

I like Sidestep the best. I use it every time I travel, both domestically and internationally. You put in your destination, put in the dates you're traveling, and it tells you which hotel has the cheapest rates.
According to Sidestep, they check the rates at 1047 hotels and hostels just in London. Doing a search myself for arrival next week, it looks like you can get hostels in the $25-30 range if you're looking for the very cheapest option.
However, if you're looking for something a little nicer, you can just narrow it down to the four and five star ratings. Then, you can see that you can get a room at the 4 star Ramada for $80 a night, plus whatever fees they have.
Sidestep also has great deals on airfares, rental cars, full vacations, cruises, etc. It's an amazing site and I would highly recommend it.
