What was the first product name with an "i" as a prefix? Was it iPaq from HP Compaq?

Tip for best answer: M$0.30
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I can't tell you the first but I can tell it it wasn't Apple or HP. ILink is an email system that dates back to 1986. IMax goes back to 1970. Maybe a stretch but ihop was founded in '53. I am sure there are a ton of products dating way back that used "i".
