What was Bill Belichick thinking?

M$As usual Bill Belichick won't really answer the questions regarding why he does anything, ask him anything and he will just respond with "the team is focusing on the Jets"

When I look at the call to go for it like that (he was trying to take the opportunity to win the game right there) then I can see a logic in the move to go for it.
I am not angry as much as disappointed, to me the game that would define the New England Patriots as a top 3 team in the AFC and maybe the NFL as a whole was for them to beat Indy.

M$This was his most embarrassing moment since he left Cleveland.

M$There was allot of miscommunication between Bill and his assistant coaches. All of the under study coaches all thought that they could tell the special teams what to do and kind of take it on the lamb.
It's not uncomon for a good team to have a slump once in a while.
(Every team has them)
The comunication between coaches and assistant coaches and managers and head coaches has been severly lacking in the past couple of months.
Managers want full disposition over what happens with the team and good managers will probably give it to them.
Although we need to look at this from the most probably and best point of view.
They had a bad day. And it was bound to happen.
Kind Regards,

M$By the way, I am far from a Patriots fan (I'm a loyal Miami Dolphins fan), so I was actually glad he made that decision!

M$Saw this article on ESPN today, and thought it was pretty appropriate for this question. I like math, so I really liked the analysis they did in this article - http://espn.go.com/boston/columns/patriots/blog/_/post/4660828
thanks! As a baseball fan and someone who knows little about football, this "best" answer means a lot. :)
