What US domestic airlines offer a baggage service guarantee?
I just received this notice from Alaska Airlines:
"Effective for tickets purchased on or after May 1, 2010: Passengers flying Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air are subject to a $20 one-way charge for each of the first three checked bags. The baggage service guarantee is also changing from 25 minutes to 20 minutes. Customers whose luggage is not at baggage claim within 20 minutes after their flight parks at the gate will receive their choice of 2,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles or $20 off a future flight."
Anyone know if the ever-increasing checked baggage fees come with a baggage service guarantee at other US domestic airlines? Logic says that the more you are charged for a service the better your service should be.
