What type of wireless router is fastest, and can work furthest? i've no experience with what them, but notice some have D or F, or G types,
any ideas?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

You can still use g, b or a. Try to get a dual band router that way you will not have to worry about other networks interfering. N Wifi routers are also backward compatible so you can still connect devices like a Nintendo DS that can only use g.
Apple has an Airport Extreme that would be good for you. I have one and it works great. You also can setup to 3 networks with this router and hookup hard drives and printers to it. Linksys, Buffalo and Netgear are good brands that are cheaper.
Most WiFi routers have a built in switch so you can connect several computers to the LAN ports (you can hard-wire it).
Hope this was helpful.
