One of my favorite bands is Nirvana. I love '90s Grunge, for example Mudhoney, Hole, L7 or Soundgarden.
Another genre I like so much is '80s Darkwave, particularly The Cure and other bands such Bauhaus and Joy Division.
However I think my favorite genre is Heavy Metal, especially Black Metal (among all Cradle Of Filth, Root and especially Dimmu Borgir and Gorgoroth Norwegian Black Metal) and Doom Metal (my favorite doom band is Type O Negative, and then Melvins, Pelican, Sunn O))) or Earth).
Obviously among my preferences should not miss good Rock music such as The Doors, Velvet Underground, Led Zeppelin, T. Rex, Jimi Hendrix or Shocking Blue '60s music.
Other bands that I really admire are System Of A Down, Muse and Depeche Mode.
But not all! In fact I am a lover of jazz (especially '30s and 40's jazz artist such Django Reinhardt or my Italian compatriots Gorni Kramer and Trio Lescano... they sung in Italian but in reality they were Hollanders) and classical music too.
As I said before, it's difficult for me to answer the question "What type of music do you like?" because there is a lot of beautiful music around.

but when I say metal I mean like As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, and HORSE THE BAND. Not lame stuff like Disturbed or Slipknot.
