Consulting the manual is always a good idea when it comes to questions about cars, and especially when it comes to what type of fuel you should or, more importantly, should not put in your car. The specific model of the car is also important in determining the type of gasoline you should or shouldn't put into your car.
However, the majority of Hyundai owners seem to prefer unleaded / regular 89 octane gasoline as long as you drive "normally", not speeding around or towing something.
It would appear unless you have a high-end sports car, high octane gasoline is just not needed, and with gas prices what they are these days, I would say that's not a bad thing, as long as you don't have a sports car, that is!
