I recently tried false eyelashes for the first time and I'd love to share with you some do's/don'ts and which brand works really well. First off I highly recommend you using Revlon's self adhesive fake eyelashes for these reasons:
1. You don't have to worry about too much or too little glue - they are already glued and ready to go.
2. They are easier to apply if you are nervous about positioning the eyelashes (I know I was since it was my first time.)
and 3. You don't have to worry about any excess glue getting into your eyes.
Now, you simply take these eyelashes out of the package and attach to your upper eyelid from one end to the next ( Video added to show you visually.) A really great thing is that if you have any trouble with these type of eyelashes you don't have to worry about the glue already being dried; or ripping off any skin.
Price tags:
Revlon eyelashes only cost 4-5 dollars at retail price. You can always pick up two (one for practice) and the other for after you have practiced. I can tell you from experience that these ones really work well and the photos below are from my experience from them. Remember if you have any trouble with them, look in the back to follow just in case. :) Goodluck!

False eyelashes these days are mostly applied with glue. Often you can get the eyelashes and glue in a kit for just a few bucks at your local drug store or store that sells beauty products.
I noticed on YouTube there are many videos that explain exactly how to apply the eyelashes with ease.
The one thing you need to be careful of is not getting the glue in the eye. Curl your natural eyelashes. Apply eyelashes. Once applied you can use mascara to blend the fake and real lashes together.
Make sure to chose an eyelash that looks more natural and not so over the top.
