What tools do you use to enhance your Mahalo experience?
I work with Notepad++ open all the time. I have a tab/file for each Mahalo page so all my work is stored locally.
I am now building templates in Notepad++ to support pulling together Answers more quickly in very active categories.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I also use Google Mahalo search to find related pages on Mahalo: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=site%3Amahalo.com&aq=f&oq=&aqi=
I have a Mahalo bookmarks folder of about 40 Mahalo resource links that I frequently refer back to.
For browsing, I'll often open questions in new window so I can answer them and not lose my place where I left off. I also use the text copy option to make quick backups of answers sometimes in case they don't go through.

M$- The "Most Visited" drop-down quickly takes me to places like my profile, spy, open questions etc
- The awesome bar easily finds Mahalo pages of interest, like the ones I manage
- I use tabs a lot to simplify Mahalo workflow... e.g. open all the questions I might want to answer or vote on. Saves going back and forth between the list of questions and individual questions.
- I have bookmarks folders for pages I want to come back to later, e.g. questions I don't have time to answer, or that I'm interested in hearing the answers for
2) Google
As others have said searching for "site:mahalo.com topic" is the easiest way to find Mahalo pages about anything. However it's not foolproof, hence why I bookmark things in Firefox as well
I also use Google to get an idea if a page I'm thinking about claiming will get many views. If it appears on the first page of Google it'll get a lot more views than if it appears on the third.
3) Excel
I cut and paste my page stats into Excel. That way it's easy to do things like calculating average views per day for each page, sorting pages by how well they're performing, and just plain working out "How much did page X make today?"
4) Google Adwords Tool
As others have said, you can get an idea of the number of searches and ad value for a given topic from this tool. That info is not much use without taking the pagerank into consideration as well, but at least it can let you know that hardly anyone cares about a certain topic.

M$I think some more detailed stats would be great, like a column that shows how much on average each page is making per week.
I haven't been tracking my stats. I know that several folks here keep Excel spreadsheets. Maybe in the future of Mahalo we will get some type of dashboard to see how we are doing.
I'll have to start looking at Google page rank for pages I claim and see if my marketing methods can improve the ranking.

Thanks for the reminder about Adwords. I have not been using it regularly. I just searched the topics that I plan to build out, now I know which pages to build first.
I also added your site search bookmark to my toolbar. Will definitely save me lots of typing.
