What tips do you have for someone who wants to start managing pages?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Manage pages that you are an expert in and care about. This is particularly important at the start while you learn the in's and out's.
2)
Before you create or claim a page, carefully search for what else is out there. Your content doesn't have to be unique to do well, it just needs to be the best. Look at the top 10 (or so) Google results for the page title and ask yourself, "can I make this at least 50% better?"
3)
Manage pages with a plan. It's going to sound odd, but... it doesn't really even matter what that plan is. If your plan is to create some "video game" pages, pick 1 video game or at least 1 genre of video games.
Think of the pages that you create like a pyramid. Create a very general top tier. Then, spread out by a couple of pages to create 2 topic pages about general, but specific and important elements. Last, create a few pages on the specific elements of the topic.
On the 'net, this is called niche marketing.
Here's an example. If I wanted to create a page about "Call of Duty", I would ensure that these pages were up to snuff or create them:
*This is just an example, obviously many of these pages are created for "Call of Duty" and others require that you be a part of a specific "team" to create. Again, this is an example to help you think about grouping pages to increase your revenue.
1: Top Tier
Call of Duty
Call of Duty Walkthrough
2: Second Tier
How To Play Call of Duty
Call of Duty System Requirements
Call of Duty Cheats
Call of Duty Reviews
3: Third Tier
Call of Duty Prestige Mode
Call of Duty Golden Wepons
Call of Duty Enemy Intel
. . .
Notice how I started with very general terms and then broke those terms down into very specific things? Each page could be interconnected with "Related Mahalo Pages" and also importantly, summary content traveling up the pyramid and connecting each layer. This makes page creation faster and if done right, provides rich, deep information that is not available anywhere else.
Even if you only want to build 1 page, think ahead. Create a general page and then down the road if you want to expand on that, update your genre by adding a summary block on pages above it and full pages below.
Hope this helps!

M$All of these resources give real time results and update automatically .
With firefox I can use some of the multi link opener extensions to open all of the pages at once, and other extensions available that co-inside with sub page management
These have been my number one tools in doing searches for key topics and key words for pages and managing pages.
Kind Regards,
