Before you even begin to clean black mold or call a professional to do it for you, the source of moisture must be eliminated. Repair the leak or provide a more efficient way for an area to dry.

For small spots of mold, it can be cleaned yourself. To clean black mold these steps should be followed:1. Completely dry area
2. Use black mold cleaner to destroy mold
3. Remove any damaged surface
4. Repair if needed

For larger areas, once completely dry:1. Block off room with plastic or closed door
2. Provide ventilation
3. Lightly mist area (reduce spores in air) before beginning
4. Remove damaged area
5. Put in large plastic bag
6. If possible, put bag outside through window in contaminated room (don’t walk through house)
7. Repair area

If there is a return of the mold after doing it yourself or to clean black mold is too big of a project, there are professionals that can clean black mold for you.

Once the mold in the house is cleaned and removed, inspect the house regularly so that when it is present, you can clean black mold immediately.

mold can only be killed totally either by chlorine bleach or by burning.

If you can't bleach what is on, then the only thing you can do is try to wash it off with a good liquid detergent and lots of hot water. Get lots of fresh air while working with it.

SEEK professional help, if there is a lot of it. The spores can get in your airways and lungs (and grow) and be toxic and/or deadly.

With professional services but there are ways to do it on your own. I would advise against it though, as they aren't very safe.

I would say that it is always advisable to get professional help to get rid of these horrible molds once and for all. Then you need to maintain it by keeping areas clean and damp free as much as possible.

Mix 3/4 cup of bleach in 4 litters of water to make bleach solution. Stray it on the molded area. Leve it for some time. then scrub it off. Once the mold is removed ,air out the room and make sure it is completely dry. Use a vacuum cleaner with hepa filter to vacuum the area to prevent the mold getting back
Steps to take to get rid of mold

Before you clean, you may want to find out whether the mold you've found is toxic or merely of cosmetic concern. Our visible mold test kit will let you know for sure. If it is toxic, you may want to call a mold remediation specialist even if the area is small.

If you decide to clean small amounts of mold yourself, please take precautions. Disturbing mold may release harmful spores into the air, which can worsen allergy and asthma symptoms or cause your family to feel ill if the mold is toxic. For complete instructions on how to remove mold safely in your house (remember extensive mold contamination requires removal by trained people), read the Mould Guidelines for the Canadian Construction Industry available at the website of the Canadian Construction Association.

Wear disposable (throwaway) cloth, gloves and a dust mask
Enclose the area with plastic sheet to contain dust and prevent spread of spores
Turn the furnace or air conditioner off before you start
If the mold is growing on hard surfaces, simply wash, and dry the area thoroughly. Ensure the moisture problem is fixed even before attempting to clean the mold. It's a good idea to check the area regularly to be sure the clean up was effective
If mold is growing on surfaces that cannot be cleaned such as porous material, cut off the contaminated material and replace them with new material." From http://www.mouldfacts.ca/blog/2007/02/how-to-get-rid-of-black-mold-safely.html
