The best television show that’s all about fashion, models and designers is the reality show Project Runway. Project Runway is a competition based design show, where designers compete for $100,000 to start their own fashion line, a chance to show during New York Fashion Week, and various other prizes. Each week designers are given a limited amount of money and a challenge to create work based on certain guidelines. Fashion experts Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia and Michael Kors then judge designers’ work. All who are hugely influential in the industry. It is also a competition for models. Each week one model is also eliminated along with the designer whose work was voted the worst. The best part about this show is that it’s about actual talented artists who create amazing work every week.

Tyra Banks created the most successful fashion program, I believe. Her Top Model reality show became hugely successful in the US. Now, there are several overseas versions. She wants to make ladies feel good and look good all the time. The reality show contestants pose for professional photographers all the time, are booked for television commercials, are brought to beautiful places, and are taught poise. They are rewarded by letting them go to good places for shopping.

There is also Fashion Police that sees what the New York locals wear every season. The host goes to a mall and interviews people whom he thinks are wearing a cool and up-to-date attire. The hosts have good chemistry with each other. Fashion forward people live the good life on these shows.
