What takes up more space on your hard drive? One text file with 2,000 words or 10 text files with 200 words each?

M$I don't exactly know the answer to your question. But I did a simple experiment and came up with this.
I created a text document with 100 words, saved the file and created 10 copies of that file. The total size came up as 4180 Bytes. But it took 40KB of size on disk.
Then I created another text document with 1000 words and saved it and checked the size. The size was 4198 bytes. But it only took 8KB of size on the disk.
According to this, the answer to your question will be 10 files of 200 words will take more space.
Hope this helps ! :)
