Downtown San Luis Obispo has great shopping. Especially if you’r looking for a swimsuit. The area is popular for surfing, so there are plenty of really amazing surf shops that have a large selection of swimsuits for men and women.
Central Coast Surfboards is a huge shop located at 855 Marsh St. They sell swimsuits, surfboards and just about anything you need for the beach.
Moondoggies Beach Club is located at 837 Monterrey St. This is another great location just a bit smaller, but still carries swimsuits and beach accessories.
You could also try a place like Sports Authority. Sports Authority is located at 837 Marsh St. This is a sporting goods shop and they sell just about everything from treadmills to snowboards. In this area of California I know for certain they will carry swimsuit year round.
