"The Stand" - the uncut edition - is a very-long, but excellent, read. It's a bit of dystopian literature with a good dose of horror. I love it.
"The Green Mile" is also fantastic. The film closely follows the book, and is great, but King got to put more details and descriptions, not to mention back story and explanations (exposition) into the book than the script writers did the movie.
I'm also a big fan of "Dolores Claiborne." Don't be fooled by the film version, which wasn't that good: the novel's great stuff.
Oh, and "Different Seasons" contains four great novellas, including "The Shawshank Redemption."
