What state or country did you last vacation at?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I had my last vacation at Bangkok, Thailand - and I enjoyed my vacation very much. I also visited some other places in Thailand like Phuket, Chiang and Pattaya. But I spent most of the time in Bangkok, though. I had a great travel experience visiting Lumphini Park, Wat Phra Kaeo, Wat Pho, The Grand Palace, The Royal Barge Museum and the floating markets on the Chao Phraya river. I also had long tail boat trips in thee waterways which was really enjoyable. One more thing I must say is that Bangkok is the shopping paradise of Thailand. Eye captivating shopping malls are full of modern and traditional outfits, antiques and electronics. Also if you go, you have to explore the Thai food culture. Overall it was an amazing travel experience in Thailand, especially in Bangkok.

Last week I returned for 10 days in Libya. It was fascinating visiting the ancient ruins along the coast. We traveled across the Sahara in a 4X4 and visited the old caravan city of Ghadames, pictured here. Only group tours are allowed at the moment (no individuals) but it's well worth it.

there is this vaction spot here in the philippines called boracay. it is an island beach where the sand is white and the grain is as fine as sugar where you can walk barefoot without that burning sensation even when the sun is up at 12 noon! full of coconut trees, pure and pristine clear water, not wavy very calm. there are water activities like snorkling on the side of the island , jet ski by riding a speed boat to get as far away from the beach and nestled on one of the floating bamboo huts thousands of meters offshore and jet ski. do para gliding and para sailing. and if you want to do some extrme water sports , one could ride a tricycle (motocycle with a passenger seat on the side)going to the other side of the beach where one can go surfing and other stuff.it's fun.
