What sites are reputable to purchase a single share of "gift stock"from, and is it worth it?
I'd like to purchase a few gift shares for various nieces, nephews and the such but want to make sure it's worth it and is also on the up and up....any suggestions?
I found these sites, but the transfer fees are so expensive. Are they all like that?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Everything I have heard about OneShare is that it is a good and reputable company.
But if you're looking for alternatives, oftentimes you can just purchase shares direct from the company you want to buy into.
Here is a list of about 1,500 companies that you can contact to purchase one share of stock:

The fees are often far less (if anything). But from what I remember, they also don't come with a specialized certificate for display--just a legal document instead.
