What show is better (and why) - Fringe or Warehouse 13?

Both shows have some really good characters, but I can't get over how thickly Fringe lays on the bogus science. I love both science fiction and fantasy, but I have a pet peeve about making up crazy pseudo science and then presenting it as fact within the plot. Fringe could be very good if they let it be more character driven allowed the fake science to fade into the background more. I don't think it's possible to both convincingly explain the pseudo-science AND focus on character development and plot within a one hour (actually 40 minute) show.
Warehouse 13 treats the unique properties of their "artifacts" more or less like magic. The characters simply accept that their world contains amazing things and move on. They let the plot advance without pausing to scientifically prove or justify how everything works. This is good, as the story is more important and there really is no viable scientific explanation for how the artifacts work.
I went to the Fringe panel at the San Diego Comiccon this year, and somebody asked the actors if any of them believed or even understood the stuff that Walter is always explaining on the show. The cast and writers all got a good chuckle and said "no". They seemed like a great group of people, though. It was startling to hear "Walter" (John Noble) and "Olivia" (Anna Torv) using Australian accents.
