Two great options are a nice picture of yourself/family in a nice frame--digital frames are great, because you can load them up with your favorites. The second option would be to find out (probably from your wife) what shops your mom really likes, and get her a gift card to it, along with a nice bouquet and card.
This way, you aren't getting her generic feminine clutter.
