What should I eat to get more protein in my diet?

Proteins are different combinations of amino acids. They can form enzymes, hormones, muscles, organs and many other tissues in the body. Proteins are found in both animals and plants. Animal proteins are known as "complete proteins" and they are found in dairy products, eggs, fish, meat and poultry. No single plant protein contains all of the essential amino acids you need, so you have to consume as many different plant proteins as possible. Plant protein is found in beans, cereals, grains, legumes, nuts, pulses, seeds and soy products.
