What should I buy at Best Buy? I have around $100 worth of Best Buy gift cards.

1) The MP3 Player. This is going to take up the whole gift card because you do not want to skimp on an MP3 player. This is one product where you really do get what you pay for. I have to say that an iPod is the way to go. You can use your gift card to get a Shuffle and then use the leftover money to buy an itunes gift card to purchase songs to load onto it, or you could put whole gift card towards a Nano, since they can have the screens for watching movies, tv shows, or music videos, plus they have additional bells and whistles like games, a pedometer, a video camera, and lots more. Its worth the splurge.
2) Quantity Over Quality: Another option to get as many items as possible would be to get the laptop case ($22), the wireless mouse ($34), and some cheaper computer speakers ($43)
3) If you watch a lot of videos, play a lot of games with sound, or play a lot of music on your computer, then you want some really nice speakers. I'd go for the name brand that hasn't failed me yet: Bose Speakers - $99.99
4) Make it a Best Buy night and buy a bunch of movies. I have a whole list of DVDs that I want to buy. Best Buy has some of the best DVD prices in town and their selection is tough to beat. They also have tons of TV on DVD box sets that I love. If a show that you're obsessed with is available on DVD, I say go for it. You'll get your money's worth in entertainment. One of my favorites? The Office (U.S.)

M$A wireless mouse? I have one from Microsoft that has never failed me and has some really nifty capabilities built into the mouse itself. Cost about $20.00.
Ahhh...computer speakers. If sound is important to you, don't wimp out on good speakers. My JBL speakers, new model, about $50.00. Go for a tweeter/woofer and make sure the larger speaker is a good-sized one. I have had mine for a very long time, and they sound great and are in perfect shape. Again, spending more than $19.95 for something that is important to you and will last for years might be a consideration
No suggestions on the MP3 player, but I'm sure you'll get a few.
Bottom line? Get a good price on an item that is of excellent quality. The durability pays off in the long run, and so enjoyable in the near term!

M$Ask me how I know. Fool me once (mess up on my laptop service plan) and fool me twice (lack of support on a broken mp3 player) and I'll tell you--don't buy anything big or important there. It isn't worth the grief if it needs work.
Personal experience.

M$I never buy service plans on anything anymore. They just aren't worth the grief. If something is going to die, it's going to die fast and the manufacturers warranty covers it, otherwise most electronics are designed with a fairly long average time of failure. If things broke a lot, then NO ONE would offer service plans, or they would be so expensive and cover so little that no one would be even tempted to buy one.
So having said that, I'm still not sure buying electronics at Best Buy are the best use of money. You can, more often them not, find the item cheaper online, unless you are talking special items like apple products, game consoles, game for the consoles. But since the money is in Best Buy gift cards already, you might be best served going after items like this, maybe an ipod shuffle, or a couple of games for a console if you have one.
I completely disagree, but maybe that's because my experience has been completely different. In 2005, we spent $2K on a new laptop for my husband who needs incredible graphic capabilities as he is a graphic designer and photographer.
In 2007, two and a half years later, that laptop had a series of hardwarer failures ending with them calling it a lemon and giving us the entire purchase price toward the purchase of a new computer.
The one he bought in 2007 was an HP with a defect on the screen hinges that they replaced at no charge and they have replaced his hard drive when the first one failed. On my laptop, bought in 2007, my keyboard had to be replaced...the computer store wanted $100+ for it. My Best Buy warranty covered it.
Best Buy even covered repairs to my husband's computer when he was in Australia and the screen inverter went out. That was a $150 repair that they paid for as well. All in all, the repairs have been relatively quick (ten days or less) and cost me nothing. Well worth the $300 for his service plan and $100 for mine.
I never buy those service plans either, I learned the hard way a long time ago. The trouble with Best Buy is that unlike some other retailers, the normal warranty period of a device isn't honored there, they take the item to the back room then bring it back and say "it works just fine" and don't let you see them test it or ask who did it.
There is a period of time after xmas when many stores will take unopened items without a receipt. I suppose you could convert the cards into easily exchanged merchandise that you take to other stores and get a credit or buy something there. But that is convoluted at best and probably not terribly ethical.

M$This is great do they sell the mini-kegs at most stores that sell beer or are they hard to get
In south Louisiana they are not hard to find but the selection is limited. Heineken is the most common, but there is also a weisbier or two (Paulaner, I think) and a dark German beer that I've seen.

Sure. Let's see...
"Up" - Although I don't usually go for animated movies, I have to say that this one was really cute
"Empire Records" - Which is on sale for $3.49? Holy crap, I am going to BB tomorrow!
"Say Anything" - I have almost all of the best 80's movies except this one
"Dial M For Murder" - A hitchcock classic
"Brighton Beach Memoirs" - Neil Simon at his finest. There are a couple other movies of his that I want but try to find them in any store. Its next to impossible.
"The Edge" - Alec Baldwin vs. a bear. Need I say more?
