What's a good klezmer band I can hire for my San Francisco/Napa wedding?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Try Jubilee Klezmer -- they're local and I think they might be what you're looking for. They used to advertise with us at The Wedding & Special Event Yellow Pages, and they're nice people! http://www.jubileeklezmer.com/pages/contact.html

Good luck! And best wishes for your wedding. Don't get too stressed with the plans if you can help it! :)

Definitely the Klezmer All Stars. They play all over, but they're in New Orleans a lot, and they always get everyone dancing. They're not traditional, but they know traditional material and do it occasionally in their own rockin' kinda way.

It's hard to find a good clip on Youtube, but here's some from Jazzfest and Bonnaroo.

I was looking for something more traditional/old school.
