Now, I don't know a lot about politics, but I don't get it. How can a journalist be the best candidate for assistant to Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. Maybe assistant is the key word here. What does an assistant do? Some only get coffee and bring stuff to the dry cleaners, while others do more work than the boss themselves.
She's worked as a journalist for the Chicago Tribune for 8 1/2 years and is the 4th journalist on Obama's staff.
Here's hoping that having fresh blood in the system will help in getting out the corrupt nature of the beast!
