what plants are toxic to mules?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

According to US Dept of Agriculture the Whitebrush or Beebrush are toxic to mules.

Mules, being closely related to horses probably should avoid this list of plants too (which are listed as toxic to horses)
# Poison Hemlock
# Tansy Ragwort
# Field Horsetail
# Buttercups
# Yew
# Oleander
# Bracken Fern
# St. John's-Wort
# Nightshade

The Poisonous Plants section on "Wilderness Expeditions" lists a group of plants that donkeys (closely related to mules) should avoid. These include Cooktown Ironwood Tree, Gympie Bush, Yellow Oleander, Coffee Senna, Rattlepod and Indigos. There are several more so you should look at them all for a detailed list.
