What plant-like attributes would you most like to have? Least like to have?
What would you least like? Perhaps your body would grow roots if you stay seated or standing too long.
I'm looking for a few ideas for some creative writing.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

-General lack of conscious concern for things like vanity or money
-The ability to be struck by lightning and survive (large trees)
-Birds and squirrels nesting in me and raising their new families in my branches (trees, shrubs)
-Living in the fresh air and the sunlight
-Blooming with flowers and making fruit
-I WOULD like growing roots and watching generations upon generations grow, live, and love in the same place (trees)
- Drinking the rain
- Tough bark as protective armor
- Long life (if I were a tree)
-Being a flower bulb that hides under the earth all year long and then POP springs out of the ground for just three weeks to put on a color show. Then back into the ground to hide some more
-The ability to twist, climb, and snake when no one's looking (vines)
-The special relationship with bees, they're always such a tease and they tickle!
DISLIKES:

-Vulnerability to bugs
-Vulnerability to drought
-Deforestation / weeding / heavy pruning
-Lack of communication with other living beings
-Ice on branches (trees)
-Forest fires
-Short life (small plants, like an annuals)
By the way, if I could pick any plant, I think I might pick this tree. I hope he inspires you too!

M$Immobility would be the biggest disadvantage, but other downers that could happen with this type of mutation, problems with prolonged cold or darkness, stiffening of limbs, perhaps loss of vocal cords or other abilities that a tree would not need.

M$"a. Any of various photosynthetic, eukaryotic, multicellular organisms of the kingdom Plantae characteristically producing embryos, containing chloroplasts, having cellulose cell walls, and lacking the power of locomotion." on line dictionary.
Well, I wouldn't mind some chloroplasts. That would let me get a bit of energy from sunlight, and even help global warming by breathing in some CO2 and exhaling O2, at least if I were sitting quietly in the sun. And, I'd be bright green! That would go great with my purple suit.
Lacking the power of locomotion, well that's the big catch. I wouldn't want to be stuck in one place. Especially considering that that one place is where you were born. Imagine spending your life planted in the new baby room of a pediatric hospital.

M$Hi. May I suggest reading How to get a Best Answer on Mahalo? This wasn't even a yes or no question, and in order to be selected as a best answer, you'll need to provide more than a one-word answer. :)
