What percentage of NFL game tickets are bought and sold through ticket brokers?
My step dad has always been curious what the percentage of tickets sold through ticket brokers are. My stepdad was on a waiting list for the Seattle Seahawks tickets for several years as well as the season tickets list. He finds it odd that he can never buy tickets at face value, and although he can by tickets through a ticket broker, they are three time the face value, which is absurd to him. So this lead him to wonder what the ratio of tickets bought through a ticket broker is compared to those who were able to buy them at face value.

According to this website, http://www.afcbeast.com/2010/04/04/what-percentage-of-nfl-game-tickets-are-bought-and-sold-through-ticket-brokers/
the answer is 25-40%. That's without them providing a source.
I'm sure your stepdad could find plenty of tickets for face value at Raiders games. lol
