What percentage of Internet users use ad blocking software?

A tough question and I haven't found anything to address it directly. However, by inference you can get a sense of adblocking software usage
Adblock Plus for Firefox - 787,127 weekly downloads (66+ million to date)
Flashblock for Firefox - 49,585 weekly downloads
There are roughly 270 million Firefox users so perhaps 25% have downloaded Adblock Plus.
An interesting tidbit from the comment of Wladimir Palant to the analysis in this post that roughly 12% of Firefox users have AdBlock installed. So that would be roughly half of those who download end up using the adblocker.
I did not see any wildly popular add-on for Internet Explorer but if there was - same calculation could be done.
So if I had to guess -- 30-40 million Firefox users.
