There are several park in Atlanta including Centennial Park, Piedmont Park, Stone Mountain Park. Piedmont Park and Centennial parks are actually in Atlanta, Stone Mountain Park, is actually located in Stone Mountain, an area outside of Atlanta. Other parks include Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, a national park, and Chandler Park. The Martin Luther King National Historic Site is also a national park. There are dozens of parks in and around Atlanta. Many of these parks have picnic areas and jogging areas. People like Piedmont Park because it's right in the city, yet it's also a natural oasis. There is also a huge lake in Piedmont Park. Centennial Park has live entertainment in the summer months and children love to play in the fountains there to keep cool.
