What oil has the least amount of fat for cooking?

Is olive oil the most healthy type of oil or is safflower oil? Where can I learn about the nutritional value of different cooking oils?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00

Hello @mmng23!

If you want to choose the healthiest oil to use when cooking, choose one that is low in saturated fat and high in monounsaturated fat. You will find a table where all the types of oil and fat are listed with its corresponding fat content.
And based on the table that you will find on the site these are the best oils to use:

* When deep frying foods, choose oil that has high smoke point like canola oil, corn oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil. Unrefined oil has lower smoke point values as seen on the table.
*If you are stir-frying and making some salad dressings you can use any oil that is low in saturated fat like canola oi, corn oilor], olive oil, peanut oil, safflower oil, sunflower oil and walnut oil.
* You should avoid coconut oil, palm oil, butter and hard margarine

Saturated animal fats like butter and lard, and saturated nut oils like coconut, avocado, and peanut oils are the healthiest cooking oils.

Bad cooking oils include canola oil, corn oil, safflower oil, soybean oil and sunflower oil.
