What type of car would you buy if you have an unlimited amount of funds?

I'm just curious....

A Tesla Roadster

Not only would I be driving something that looks awesome and has the stats to back it up, but I could drive around my neighborhood with the roof down yelling, "I'm as cool as JCal".

To be honest...

I would take my 1990 Toyota Corolla, which my dad taught me how to drive in when I was 16 and gave to me when I was 17... and fix it up. It's the biggest memory that I have left of my dad now that he's gone. Everything would be true to how it looked when it was new, but... I'd have all of the current safety features added somehow, and the seats made to be more comfortable, and somehow a little more leg room in the back seats because that's always people's complaints when they're back there. And I'd have a little purple flower painted on the top right of the middle AC vent, my dad was so happy when I gave him that sticker as a kid that it stuck there til I got the car as a teen. It fell off eventually.

I know, I know, stuck in the past. But what can I say, the car is coming up on 20 years old and it's still chugging along but I know its time is coming. I'm giving it to my oldest niece when my mom gives me her "old" car this year, but it's gonna kill me to do. I've often thought that if I were rich, I'd fix it up and preserve it. But alas... I'm not rich, lol.

I really wish I could cross a Tesla with my Cadillac with my parents' Town and Country van. I love all the little bells and whistles of the latter two. I'm short, and in most cars I have to move the seat so far forward to reach the peddles that the steering wheel is jammed into my stomach, and seat belt is across my neck and cheek. In those cars, the peddles are adjustable so I can reach them, and so is the seat belt. Plus all kinds of little things: stow-away seating, heated seats, controls on the steering wheel, comfort features for back seat passengers. Makes them very expensive, but oh well.

I have kids to haul, so I need a bigger car. Doesn't mean it can't be nice!

lol @ wanting to cross a Tesla with a mini van.

I wish that I was an artist so that I could contribute an illustration of the illegitimate love child that would result from that coupling.

I understand your points though. What good is a nice car if you're not comfortable in it? I dislike Audi's only because I'm not comfortable in any of them.

If I had unlimited funds I would buy myself a Mustang... not the most expensive or fancy car, but it's a well-built, solid car that has been around for years. That tells you just how reliable it must be if it has been around as long as it has!

I would just customize the interior and exterior exactly how I wanted it, & add a really nice stereo system. It'd be hot!

Definitely a laser blue convertible Mini Cooper. We rented a yellow one for our honeymoon, and it was awesome. It's one of the few cars that appeal to me as a girl but still can be driven by guys without shame. The inside controls are very nice, and the car has so much power. Awesome Awesome!

I really, really, want a 4-door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, which would cost around $30,000.

I like these too. I went to test drive one last summer though and was put off by the interior.

The only way for me to describe it is "chunky plastic".

They really ought to fix up the interior a bit.... The exterior and the features are quite attractive.

I'd like a black one with the soft / hard top combo.

An original Shelby Cobra. Most of the ones you see on the road are reproductions, there are 3 known originals in the state of Michigan. 2 of which belong to Jack Roush in his personal collection. So rare, and so cool... definitely a car I want!
