What Netbook do you recommend for a standard usage ?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I like the Dell netbooks. I use one of the older models, the Dell Mini 9, and it's great. The newer Dell netbooks include a webcam and a SD card slot, I believe. Dell's current-generation netbooks start at just US$299.

I have owned the Asus, HP Mini and the Toshiba NB205 and from all of them I am most pleases with the Toshiba. With the 6 cell battery I have been getting between 6-7 hrs of use, nice key board, and the SD card slot can be used for Windows ready boost. Running Windows 7 has been working well on it and Ubuntu also runs great.
