Hi there and welcome to Mahalo! Flutes are known to be the earliest musical instruments. Some flutes dating to about 40,000 to 35,000 years ago. There are also the oldest drumsm which are dated from 6000 BC, have been found from Neolithic or 'New Stone Age' period excavations. Some drums are are as old as 5000 BC which was found in Middle East.
