You will find a complete list of movies set in Australia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABBA:_The_Movie
I just pick some of them and their description:
1.ABBA: The Movie - this is a 1977 feature film about the pop group ABBA's Australian tour.
2. The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert - this is a 1994 comedy-drama film about three drag queens who travel across the Australia outback from Sydney to Alice Springs in a coach they named Priscilla.
3. Crocodile Dundee- this is a 1986 comedy film which stars Paul Hogan as the weathered Mick Dundee. This is inspired by the true life exploits of Rodney Ansell.
4. Finding Nemo - an animated film about the overly protective clownfish Marlin, voiced by Albert Brooks, who along with a regal tang called Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, searches for his son Nemo, voiced by Alexander Gould.
5. The Fortress - the story is about a teacher and his students who are kidnapped in an Australian town.
6. Police Story 4: First Strike - this is about a Hong Kong cop who works in the Interpol to track down and arrest an illegal weapons dealer.
See the complete list at the source.

annelisle, u provided an incorrect link. i think this is the one u meant to provide http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_set_in_Australia
@davepamn, assuming we enjoy similar types of movies, I would recommend The Hard Word and Rabbit-Proof Fence.
I noticed one of the movies listed was a Bollywood movie. That's interesting.
How much of Crocodile Dundee depiction of Australia was exaggeration and how much was factual?
Finding Nemo was not filmed in Australia at all. It was an amimated film project made by Pixar/Disney in the USA, about a Clown Fish and the animated setting was for obvious reasons in Australia, since Clownfishes only live in the coast of that country.
What is the The Hard Word and Rabbit-Proof Fence movies about?
