@kealea, An alternative version of Rapunzel will prove to be a great kid's movie, and looks to be one that parents will enjoy as well. Check nearby theaters for 3-D showings, keep in mind that if you want to see it in 2D instead you may want to catch it when it first comes out, or on the tail end of its run. There is no guarantee in theaters with 3D that they will carry the 2D version, and if they do maybe not for long.
