What makes iLife better than Flickr?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

ILife is totally different software then Flickr. Flickr is an online photo-sharing site. It is a community that allows users to upload their photos and share them with other users. It provides on-line cloud based applications that allow you to edit, crop and even print images that you have uploaded to their site.
iLife is a suite of software applications for the Macintosh OS-X operating system. iLIfe consists of a number of applications including iPhoto. iPhoto allows you to import, organize, print and store images on your Macintosh computer. The tools included in iPhoto are superior to the tools supplied in Flickr but not as sophisticated as the tools in Adobe Photoshop or GIMP.
iLife also includes GarageBand, a tool for creating and editing music and soundtracks. It also includes, iMovie for editing movies and videos and iDVD, which is a tool for creating CDS and DVDs. There are dozens of other smaller applications that are also part of the iLife applications suite including iChat and Photobooth.
