Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

That was the question of Jonathan Livingston Seagull. His answer was that less evolved birds just did it to chase food and compete with each other. But he started realizing that flying was an end in itself, for pure joy. Eat to fly, so to speak, rather than fly to eat.

An air cannon works well. I usually use around 100 psi in the tank. I recommend using cornish hens since they are the best size for your standard diamater air cannons. Make sure they are still frozen. They fly better that way.

Put it this way. Just like a plane, the birds wings are curve shaped. Kinda like this (| except rotated 90 degrees. The air that travels over the top of the wing travels faster than the air that travels beneath the wing and the pressure that is created beneath the wing is greater than the pressure above the wing, creating lift! Here is a website where you can find an illustration of what I just described.

A shotgun blast into the air will usually do it.

laughing... I love to laugh... and when I do I fly right up.... or fairy dust...that might be easier, and less painfull when a bird stops laughing...

could it be that wind really loves birds and is constantly blowing them around?
