What makes Allegiant Air the best airline to use when flying to Las Vegas?
I am planning on going to Las Vegas in June and there is an option to fly on Allegiant Air for a direct flight to Las Vegas. I am curious why this airline is not only so popular, but what makes it worth the trip. Are there any special activities done on this flight that makes is a top choice amongst other airlines that travel to Las Vegas? Is it like a little party before you get to the actual party in Vegas? Any sources or even personal experience would be much appreciated!

The way Allegiant is making its mark is by choosing the two biggest American vacation spots, Orlando and Las Vegas, and providing direct flights to customers who previously had limited access. So for me, the most positive thing about them is I can visit my hometown of Springfield, MO, from Las Vegas for $150 or less.
There are no bells and whistles. However, on flights to Las Vegas, the staff will often run a little game shortly before arrival. The one I've seen the most is a simple pool, where passengers who want to play will put in a dollar, and by the end of the flight a seat number is chosen and that person wins the pot. People clap and have a good time, and at least one excitable guy will shout "Viva Las Vegas!" or "Vegas, Baby!" at some point during your trip. No, it's not me. I've never shouted "Viva Las Vegas" in my lilfe. The staff also enjoys pointing out weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries.
