What Mac To-do list application is better: Things or The Hit List?

Tip for best answer: M$0.50
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Tough call! I think The Hit List is better, but I prefer Things because I'm after simplicity and ubiquity in a to-do manager above all else. The Hit List is very feature rich. I find I "fiddle around" with these features much more than I should and it cuts into my productivity. This is why I could never get into OmniFocus. On the flip side, when I tried Anxiety, I found it to be the most lightweight task manager I've used, but it wasn't as intuitive as Things.

Also for me personally, I want an application that comes with a iPhone/iPod Touch sync companion app. Things Touch does this very well with it's mobile<->desktop syncing.

OmniFocus: http://www.omnigroup.com/applications/omnifocus

Things user for about 1 year and The Hit List beta user.

I prefer The Hit List, which to me has a very simple user interface. I have never gotten along well with this sort of application because of their complexity, but The Hit List is not only simple, but makes very good use of keyboard commands. The downside is that there is no iPhone app yet, but it is being beta tested currently,

I also use THL for doing outlines of podcast episodes.
